After teaching at universities in Lebanon and Iran, Park Teter studied The Scientific Revolution at the University of Chicago and Princeton. (For details, click on biography) He then discovered a new paradigm that solves the scientific puzzle of coincidences by recognizing that we create physical facts in the same way that we create dream images.

In this new paradigm:

• Physical facts, like dream images, can be interpreted.

• The interpretation of realities, like the interpretation of dreams, can free us from recurring private and public nightmares and release creative powers.

• Just as a single dream image can express many different ideas, so a single physical fact can express the ideas of many different people. ("Overdetermination.")

• Just as an individual can be the creator, the hero, and the interpreter of a dream world, so each individual is the creator, the hero, and the interpreter of the universe. Thus every individual has infinite and unconditional worth.

• Recognition of each individual’s infinite worth will replace the nightmare of war with awakening to the human adventure of creating, exploring, explaining, enjoying, sharing, and re-creating the universe.

• Awakening from the nightmare of war requires, in this age of weapons of mass destruction, a revolution of consciousness that is global, rapid, and profound.
  

The logic of the new paradigm is summarized in The Revolution of the Species, explored in greater depth in The Adventure, and combined with autobiography in The Personal Universe.

But the logic is only part of the revolution of consciousness. The passion of that revolution is expressed in Park Teter’s works of fiction, drama, and poetry.

(stage play)   In 1939-40, as Finland alone heroically fought the giant Soviet Union, a crippled violinist finds a greater heroism in love and music.
